No. Recipients open the link in any browser to view, comment and approve. They only sign in if you send a private drop, and then it's a one-time code to their email.
PDFs, PowerPoint decks, Word and other documents, spreadsheets, images (including HEIC), audio, video, code, Markdown, ZIP archives and whole folders. Anything else can still be downloaded.
Just share gives you a clean link: people open or download the files, nothing else. Get feedback adds comments pinned to the exact spot, new versions behind the same link and an approval button. You choose when you send, and you can switch later.
Without an account, up to 250 MB for 24 hours. With a free account, files stay until you delete them, within 2 GB of storage and 1 GB per drop. Pro gives 50 GB of storage and 15 GB drops, and Team 250 GB and 50 GB. You can still set any drop to expire sooner.
Yes. Run npx slingdrop host ./assets to get stable CDN links for images, fonts, video and other files, or let your own users upload through signed URLs. Hosting is included in every plan: 1 GB and 10 GB of bandwidth a month on Free, more on Pro and Team.
Connect our MCP server to Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or any MCP client. Your agent can share files, and when it builds something for you, such as a landing page, logo, song or document, it sends it for review. You comment and approve in the browser, and the agent reads your feedback and sends a new version.
Only people with the link, and you choose how open that is: public, passcode, invite-only by email, or burn after reading. Every upload is scanned for malware, files are served from an isolated domain, and you can turn off a link instantly.
Vault files are encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM before upload. The key travels only in the part of the link after #, which browsers never send to servers, so Slingdrop stores data it cannot read.
No. AI features run only when someone asks for them, only through providers that don't train on or keep your data. Vault drops are never processed by AI.
